BEGINNERS WILL NEED INSTRUMENTS IN CLASS ON SEPTEMBER 5th!
There are many ways to go about obtaining an instrument for your child's first year in band. Here are a few reasons why I strongly recommend renting:
Less financial strain: Most rentals are under $30 a month. Quality instruments can often cost over $1,000 to purchase
Flexibility: If you purchase an instrument and your child ends up dissatisfied with it, you'll be stuck having to try to sell that instrument to get back a fraction of what you paid.
Guidance/Peace of Mind: There are countless instrument brands to choose from, and there are many manufacturers making low-quality instruments. It's always a shame when a parent purchases an instrument on Amazon or another website, only to have it break within the first 6 months of use. Reputable stores won't rent low quality instruments. They'll guide parents to the best value. They'll also be willing to make repairs as they are needed.
INSTRUMENT RENTAL MEETING SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 17th AT 6:00 PM
We will have a ZOOM meeting on August 17th with a sales rep. from Music and Arts of Baton Rouge. If you choose to attend this meeting, you'll be able to ask questions, and even get your child's rental set up during the meeting. This is by far the most stress-free way to get everything you need for your child before September 5th. Please see Music and Arts Flyer Below for more information.
